Swim Instructor I

The swim instructor provides direct leadership and instruction for students in swim classes according to ymca guidelines. They are responsible for maintaining a positive atmosphere, preparing lesson plans, and ensuring the safety of all participants.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and hold ymca swim instructor certification or an equivalent. Required certifications include cpr for the professional rescuer, aed, basic first aid, and emergency oxygen.
