7th/8th Grade Teacher -STEM High School

STEM Academy is seeking a dynamic and student-centered 7th/8th Grade Combo Teacher to deliver instruction across all core content areas (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) in a small, supportive learning environment. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in a flexible, relationship-driven setting and is committed to helping students who may need a non-traditional pathway to success. Class sizes are intentionally small, allowing for individualized instruction, strong student-teacher relationships, and targeted academic support.

Qualifications

Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain) Highly Qualified in core content areas preferred Experience teaching middle school students preferred Ability to teach multiple subjects effectively Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills Key Responsibilities Deliver standards-aligned instruction in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons Integrate STEM-focused, project-based learning opportunities Build strong relationships with students using restorative practices Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data Collaborate with staff and participate in PLCs Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment Key Skills & Attributes Flexible and adaptable in a small school environment Strong organizational and instructional planning skills Ability to motivate and engage students Data-driven and solutions-oriented mindset Why STEM Academy?
