- This role works collaboratively with educators, administrators, and staff to support English Learners through high-quality instruction, coaching, and program development.
- Key Responsibilities Provide direct instruction to grades 9-12 ELD students using ELP standards and best practices.
- Deliver explicit academic language development, vocabulary instruction, and sheltered instruction techniques.
- Support and coach teachers to enhance instructional strategies for English Learners.
- Promote cultural awareness and inclusive instructional practices across content areas.
- Manage compliance with local, state, and federal ELD program requirements.
- Travel between campuses as needed to support instruction and program implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate with SEI Endorsement 3-5 years of successful experience working with English Language Learners Demonstrated success using student achievement data to inform instruction Experience working with at-risk student populations Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills Ability to travel between multiple sites
