Core responsibilities
The slp is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in children from birth to age 21. This includes developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a master's degree in speech language pathology and a current, unrestricted license to practice. New graduates are welcome to apply provided they are in the process of obtaining licensure.
