Very flexible hours, both group and private swimming lessons.
Provides education and teaching to adults and children involved with water safety and swimming lessons.
Demonstrates the ability to work with growth and development needs of a unique client population. Displays flexibility to cover the teaching schedule including hours during the morning, day, evening, and weekends. Actively looks for ways to help people, ensuring optimal learning takes place during lessons. Depending on level of experience, individual may be in charge of creating the structure of classes, creating schedules for other instructors, providing resources for the structure of classes, and helping with attendance records for classes.
Must be at least 16 years old and in high school.
Water Safety Instructor Certification required upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
