Position overview

We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Behavioral Health Clinician to work directly within the school setting in Massillon, OH. This position follows the school calendar, providing an excellent opportunity to support students’ behavioral health needs during the academic year, with additional earning opportunities available during school breaks and summer.

  • Key responsibilities
  • Provide direct behavioral health services to students within the school environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with Blick, school personnel, students, and parents/guardians to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Offer consultation services to students and school staff as applicable to support behavioral health and academic success.
  • Maintain and manage a caseload within the school, ensuring consistent and timely care for clients.
  • Commit to meeting client needs during school breaks as needed or upon request.
  • Link students to additional community or clinical resources upon completion of consultation services to support ongoing care.

Qualifications

  • Relevant licensure or certification in behavioral health (e.g., LPC, LSW, LPCC, or equivalent) as required by state regulations.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
