Role overview and purpose

Neighborhood Healthcare offers clinical rotation opportunities for students actively enrolled in RN programs. RN rotations provide a hands-on learning experience under the guidance of one of our experienced nurses. Students will have the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting while gaining exposure to community health.

Please note

RN rotation opportunities are only available to students from schools where Neighborhood Healthcare has an active affiliation agreement. We are unable to accommodate students from schools without such agreements. Must be a current RN student at CSU San Marcos.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in RN rotations under the direct supervision of an assigned registered nurse
  • Engage in patient care activities as directed by your program requirements and preceptor guidance
  • Develop clinical skills, including patient interaction, case documentation, and care coordination
  • Adhere to Neighborhood Healthcare’s standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in an RN program
  • Must attend a school with an active affiliation agreement with Neighborhood Healthcare
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and collaboration
  • Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through an American Heart Association (AHA)-approved source
