Job description
- Overview The YMCA is seeking Youth Sports Clinic Instructors.
- This position is part time.
- Clinics are scheduled Monday nights 5:00-8:00PM.
- The salary range is $15.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience, availability and certifications.
- In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities
Teach introductory through intermediate skills, rules of play and the Y Way to Play using your own and provided lesson plans. Assist in officiating, including parent interaction. Ensure clinics run smoothly and safely with all activities starting and ending on schedule. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Age 16 years or older. Significant involvement and understanding of the sport. CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days. Know how to break down a skill and explain it so that participants can understand and perform the skill. Ability to organize and engage groups of children. Ability to communicate and work with a variety of people including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members.
