The IET Instructor provides academic instruction and support for students in IET programs and facilitates technical learning opportunities. They assess student needs and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and at least one year of teaching or related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new instructional technologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and cultural competency in diverse educational settings. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Minimum of one (1) year of teaching, coaching, or related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience delivering industry-related or technical training is preferred but not necessary—training and support will be provided for qualified candidates.
