Core responsibilities
The prenatal educator is responsible for teaching and facilitating prenatal classes and support groups both virtually and in person to prepare families for newborn care. They collaborate with the baby and me department to evaluate services and maintain evidence-Based educational materials.
Requirements summary
Preferred qualifications include being an ibclc, certified lactation counselor, or lpn with obstetrical or pediatric experience. A certification in childbirth education and demonstrated knowledge of breastfeeding support are highly valued.
