We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team and support our lead teachers in creating an engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff, ensuring open and respectful communication.

Support children's daily routines, including meals, naps, and transitions between activities.

Encourage and model positive behavior, supporting children's social-emotional growth.

Ensure compliance with all state and local early childhood education regulations and school policies.

Assist in meal preparation and serving, following food safety guidelines.

Participate in professional development opportunities and staff training sessions.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months of experience in early childhood education preferred.

CPR & First Aid Certification.

Current Food Handler’s Certification.

Passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their growth and development.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Must pass a background check in accordance with state licensing requirements.
