SPED Teacher

The lead sped teacher is responsible for developing and implementing ieps, providing modifications and accommodations, and delivering specialized instruction in core deficit areas. They collaborate with general education teachers and families to ensure students receive necessary services and academic support.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid missouri teaching license with special education certification for the assigned grade level. A commitment to educational equity and a satisfactory background check are also required.
