Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Florida Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Impairment. Preferred qualifications include ASHA certification and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supports BridgePrep Academy and affiliated campuses statewide. As a member of the Special Populations team, the SLP provides direct and consultative services to students with communication disorders. The SLP plays a critical role in identifying needs, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and delivering high-quality speech-language therapy in compliance with all federal and state requirements. This role includes collaboration with school teams, families, and multidisciplinary support staff to ensure positive student outcomes.
