Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and licensure by the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers. A minimum of three years of professional experience in an athletic department is required, with a master's degree and NATABOC certification preferred.
The Associate Athletic Trainer works under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer to coordinate care for student-athletes competing in intercollegiate athletics at Navarro College. These responsibilities include the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injuries within the College’s comprehensive sports medicine program. The Associate Athletic Trainer also supports the education and supervision of students participating in the College’s Athletic Training Educational Program.
SALARY: Commensurate with Education and Experience (This is an 11 month position to be paid over 12 months)
