The trainee supports EMS education through supervised instruction, skills facilitation, and learner engagement under the oversight of a licensed Instructor/Coordinator. They are responsible for delivering instructional content, managing lab resources, and progressing toward independent licensure.
Candidates must be a licensed EMT or Paramedic with at least three years of active EMS experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/PEARS certifications. They are required to obtain State of Michigan Instructor/Coordinator licensure within six months of hire.
