Our Organization is excited to partner with an Illinois school district seeking dedicated and student-focused Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. These full-time opportunities offer the chance to work in supportive educational settings where collaboration, creativity, and student growth are highly valued. In these positions, educators will provide specialized academic support to students with diverse learning needs while promoting confidence, independence, and classroom success. Teachers will utilize individualized strategies and adaptive instruction to help students meet both academic and behavioral goals within structured, student-centered environments.
The selected educator will be responsible for implementing individualized educational plans and providing differentiated instruction that supports student success across academic and behavioral areas. This role includes adapting curriculum materials, collecting and tracking student progress data, and working collaboratively with school teams and families to ensure students receive consistent support. The teacher will also promote positive social-emotional development while maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field and hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement, or be eligible to obtain licensure. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills. Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
