Child Life Specialist

The child life specialist promotes the continuous development of children to optimize their responses to medical care and minimize psychological stress. They advocate for children and families in inpatient and ambulatory settings while serving as a resource on child health experiences.

A bachelor's degree in child life or a related developmental field is required, with a master's degree preferred. Candidates must have bls certification, a 480-Hour supervised internship, and previous experience working with children and families.
