  • Gloucester, Virginia Overview The Personal Trainer will provide members and non-members with an exercise prescription in a friendly, motivating, and professional manner.
  • Will conduct sessions in a safe environment.
  • The personal trainer maintains supervision of clients throughout session.
  • What you will do Trainer is genuinely friendly and concerned for the client's well-being.
  • He/she interacts positively with clients before, during or after sessions and uses their name when appropriate.
  • Trainer teaches safe and effective sessions.
  • The trainer refrains from using contraindicated movements and shows modifications throughout the session.
  • Trainer is prepared to teach and maintains a level of fitness appropriate to demonstrate exercises.
  • Trainer maintains current CPR certification and is knowledgeable about emergency response chain.
  • CBL's are complete.
  • Instructor maintains national personal training certification.
  • Trainer is able to handle customer relation issues in a professional manner while not getting personally involved.
  • The Trainer relays all information to manager or MOD and completes appropriate documentation.
  • Trainer attends bi-monthly staff meetings.
