Job description
- Gloucester, Virginia Overview The Personal Trainer will provide members and non-members with an exercise prescription in a friendly, motivating, and professional manner.
- Will conduct sessions in a safe environment.
- The personal trainer maintains supervision of clients throughout session.
- What you will do Trainer is genuinely friendly and concerned for the client's well-being.
- He/she interacts positively with clients before, during or after sessions and uses their name when appropriate.
- Trainer teaches safe and effective sessions.
- The trainer refrains from using contraindicated movements and shows modifications throughout the session.
- Trainer is prepared to teach and maintains a level of fitness appropriate to demonstrate exercises.
- Trainer maintains current CPR certification and is knowledgeable about emergency response chain.
- CBL's are complete.
- Instructor maintains national personal training certification.
- Trainer is able to handle customer relation issues in a professional manner while not getting personally involved.
- The Trainer relays all information to manager or MOD and completes appropriate documentation.
- Trainer attends bi-monthly staff meetings.
