Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time ELA Grader to support our instructional team. This role is responsible for evaluating student work in alignment with established rubrics and providing timely, accurate grading. The ideal candidate has strong English Language Arts knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Duties/Responsibilities: Grade student assignments, essays, and assessments using provided rubrics and guidelines Ensure consistency, accuracy, and fairness in all grading practices Provide clear, constructive feedback when required Meet established grading deadlines and turnaround times Communicate with instructional staff as needed regarding grading questions or clarifications Maintain confidentiality of student information and academic records QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Strong background in English Language Arts (degree or relevant experience preferred) Excellent written communication and grammar skills High attention to detail and ability to follow structured grading criteria Ability to manage time effectively and work independently Basic proficiency with technology and online grading platforms
