Job description
Through Sheppard Pratt’s school-based therapy services, Sheppard Pratt provides mental health services within Baltimore City Public Schools.
What to expect.
We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed counselor or social worker to provide school-based therapy services in Baltimore City Public Schools. Full-time and part-time options are available. Work hours are consistent with school hours.
Specific responsibilities include
- Providing clinical assessments and interventions for students.
- Conducting individual and group therapy
- Maintaining data on students served and outcome measures.
- Working with other Sheppard Pratt program and partner agencies to meet outlined benchmarks.

- What we need from you.
- Must possess, or be working towards one of the following licensures at time of hire:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a safe driving record.
- Experience working with adolescents and families is preferred, but not required.
The pay range for this position is $60,320 minimum to $87,838.40 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
