  • Devereux Arizona’s Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a beautiful 24-hour, 10-acre campus located in the heart of Scottsdale.
  • The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges.
  • The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.
  • As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct daily medical management for our adolescent population, as well as provide, review, and follow-up with medical providers as to the effectiveness and/or possible side effects noted of medications administered.
  • This position provides supervision regarding safety issues/crisis intervention for the campus population, infection control protocols, and general medical management.
  • The RN will maintain effective communication with all departments involved with direct client care and will provide education/training of direct care personnel involved with the Medication Technician Certification Program at the Group Home Level.
  • Pay Range: $38/hr - $41.80/hr Shift Differentials: $2/hr.
  • 3:00pm - 11:00pm; $4/hr.

Qualifications

Current valid RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions required Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred Six (6) months nursing experience required Previous behavioral health experience with children/adolescents or pediatric nursing preferred Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills OTHER: Must attend mandatory two (2) weeks of paid New Hire Orientation: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, followed by on the job training Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards) Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable) Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (OR eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).
