The YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and safety-focused Gymnastics Instructor to support our youth programs. Under the guidance of the Gymnastics Lead, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality gymnastics and Ninja classes, fostering skill development, and creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment for all participants. Key Responsibilities Exhibit a professional demeanor through behavior, communication, and attentiveness to participants and families Teach YMCA (YUSA) gymnastics skills and Ninja classes following assigned program plans Demonstrate proper techniques and ensure safe, age-appropriate use of equipment Maintain a safe and inclusive environment through active supervision of participants Follow and adhere to all safety procedures established by supervisors Set up and clean gymnastics equipment before and after each class; maintain cleanliness of the gymnastics area Track attendance and student progress; complete progress reports and master sheets accurately and in a timely manner Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding participant progress and development Accurately complete Incident/Accident Report Forms and report all relevant information promptly Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration, communication, and mutual support
