Job description
Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a qualified School Psychologist (Master's or PhD level) to work with our growing charter school team.

Neurobehavioral Center for Growth contracts with charter schools to offer comprehensive school psychology services including special education eligibility determination, Individual Education Plan (IEP) services, intellectual, academic, and social behavioral evaluation, behavior planning, social behavioral support (mental health support, counseling) and consultation with parents and educators. We are looking for personable and knowledgeable individuals to join our team.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a master’s or PhD in School Psychology and a current Utah License/Certification as a school psychologist. *Potential consideration for school psychologist interns based on fit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations that may include but are not limited to the assessment of intellectual, developmental, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral functioning. Interpret and utilize assessment data. Complete clearly written and comprehensive summaries and/or reports that provide specific and practical recommendations relative to the instructional/educational needs of the student. Enter assessment and observation data Participate as a member of student assistance teams to review referrals of students suspected of having an educational disability to determine the need for interventions and evaluations. Serve as a member of the IEP and 504 teams in determining the eligibility of a student for special education services and/or 504 accommodations. Provide direct services that are identified in the service plan related to related services that include social skills and mental health support Submit required paperwork within a timely manner. Maintain and respect the confidentiality of student and personnel information while maintaining the safety and welfare of student and staff members. Maintain accurate records of all psychological services provided. Deliver services consistent with the National Association of School Psychologists and the American Psychological Association ethical principles and professional standards of practice. ADOS administration experience is preferred but will train. Must have excellent oral and written skills. Be able to communicate effectively with families regarding clinical, occupational and educational recommendations based on testing results. Familiar with Microsoft Office 365.
