Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to cultivate a positive learning environment. This role involves caring for children, implementing curriculum, fostering social-emotional development, and maintaining a nurturing and structured classroom environment.

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for children Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure a holistic learning experience for each child Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive lesson plans Supervise and engage with children to promote positive behavior and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress, concerns, and milestones. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning space. Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing regulations. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Minimum two years of experience working in a structured childcare setting Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Must pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Relevant certifications or qualifications in Early Childhood Education
