The Substitute Teacher assumes full responsibility for the classroom in the teacher's absence, implementing lesson plans and maintaining daily schedules. They are responsible for managing student behavior using positive approaches and maintaining a clean learning environment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
