Job description

The role of the Skills Based Treatment RBT is to provide individualized applied behavior analytic services to clients of Bridgeway Academy and Therapy Center. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), addressing behavior change and skill acquisition goals across environments (classroom, home, etc.). Many treatment plans involve implementation of skill based treatment (SBT) to treat moderate to severe problem behavior.

Duties

  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 format across environments (classroom, therapy room, home, etc.) and all ages
  • Assist in conducting functional analyses and practical functional assessments (PFAs)
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition programs, behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
  • Implement Skills-Based Treatment (SBT) under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Assists with activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, etc.), when needed
  • Collaborate with professionals on the client’s treatment team as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.

Qualifications

  • Must already possess RBT credential and be in good standing with the BACB.
  • A High School Diploma or GED Required. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology or related field preferred.
  • Excellent attendance records
  • Experience in and understanding of the field of autism and ABA
  • A valid drivers license
