Job description

  • Remington College is seeking exceptional Medical Assisting with X-ray instructor to teach in our MAX program!

  • We're looking for talented x-ray tech instructors to join the academic team at our Dallas Campus.
  • This individual will report to the Campus Dean.
  • Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares lesson plans using industry-standard approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).
  • Teaches courses as assigned, instructs, and evaluates students, develops students' skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.
  • Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
  • Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
  • Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Education/Experience Needed: An associate degree or higher in radiological science, medical assisting, or related.
  • At least four (4) years of practical work experience in a radiography environment, with hands on knowledge of related procedures.
  • Certified as MRT and credentialed as a radiographer with ARRT, OR Certified as LMRT with certificate categories that match the categories of instruction, OR A practitioner (such as a chiropractor with a license) in good standing with all appropriate regulatory agencies and not subject to any discipline orders.
  • Good word processing/spreadsheet/Internet skills.
