Job description

Summer nanny / Private educator needed full-Time | may 25 – july 3

We are seeking a highly dependable, energetic, and engaging full-time nanny for the summer to care for two children ages 2.5 and 4.5 years old.

This is NOT simply a babysitting position. We are specifically looking for someone with prior Pre-K , elementary, or early childhood teaching experience who can actively engage the children with structured learning, creative activities, and educational lesson plans throughout the summer.

DETAILS

  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Saturday
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Summer-only position: May 25 – July 3

Responsibilities

  • INCLUDE:
  • Providing attentive daily care for both children
  • Creating and leading age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
  • Reading, learning exercises, crafts, outdoor play, and structured enrichment
  • Encouraging positive behavior, creativity, and curiosity
  • Preparing simple meals/snacks for the children as needed
  • Cleaning up after the children throughout the day
  • Keeping play areas, learning areas, and children’s spaces organized and tidy
  • driving to and from lessons and activities

Requirements

  • Previous Pre-K, daycare, preschool, or early childhood teaching experience REQUIRED
  • Experience managing multiple young children at once
  • Strong patience, communication, and organizational skills
  • Energetic, positive, and highly dependable personality
  • Non-smoker
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must genuinely enjoy working with young children
