Description We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer Middle School Cross Country Coach to lead and support our student-athletes in a positive, structured, and encouraging environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with middle school students and fostering a love of running, teamwork, and personal growth. Season Details: Season runs approximately June through late October Practice begins in June Meets begin in August
Plan and lead all cross-country practices and meet-day events Develop and implement age-appropriate training plans for middle school athletes Foster a positive, disciplined, and supportive team culture Ensure the safety, well-being, and preparedness of all student-athletes Register and manage team participation for meets and events Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and school administration Coordinate meet logistics, including attendance, schedules, and athlete readiness Maintain organization of team equipment, schedules, and records Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other coaches and athletic staff Serve as a positive role model and uphold the mission and values of the school
