Job description

Summary

Student workers are responsible for assisting in classrooms and the overall summer camp as needed. Ensure campers' safety during class activities. Help with preparation, clean-up, and administrative tasks. Monitor and assist with lunches, snack breaks as needed.

Scheduling and Placement

  • Monday –
  • Friday
  • June 1-5 &
  • June 8-12
  • Dayshift: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • Evening shift: 3:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Required

Minimum Qualifications

Must be min. 16 years old. Must have experience working with either elementary or middle school children. Must support and practice imaginative, engaging and learner-centered education and be able to work individually and collaboratively in team environment. Be on time to supervise students. Must be able to pass background check if older than 18. Performs other duties as assigned by the ASMS President/Director.

This position requires the ability to present yourself in a professional manner, communicate, listen to others, observe others’ actions, read text and information, comprehend instructions and manuals, plan and organize, and physically move about the school.
