Teach one or more AP humanities courses, including AP U.S. History, AP European History, AP World History, AP Human Geography, AP Micro and Macro Economics, AP Language and Literature, and/or AP Psychology Help students develop a strong understanding of key concepts, themes, and course content Guide students in mastering AP exam requirements, including analytical writing, argumentation, and critical thinking Develop lesson plans tailored to students’ academic levels and learning goals Assign and review homework, essays, and practice work, and provide timely feedback to students and parents when needed Support students in improving exam-taking strategies Contribute to curriculum planning and instructional improvement when necessary
Bachelor’s degree in history, psychology, geography, social sciences, or a related humanities field (required) Previous teaching or tutoring experience in an educational setting (required) Familiarity with AP curricula and AP-style assessments (required) Ability to teach multiple AP humanities subjects preferred Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills Responsible, patient, and detail-oriented, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Passion for education and the ability to engage and motivate students
