Job description
- Classroom Substitutes are needed for our Early Head Start & Head Start Programs Positions available at our Council Bluffs, Denison, Harlan, Red Oak, Hastings & Atlantic locations Would you like to work with children who are 6 weeks to 5 years of age?
- We are seeking Classroom Substitute Teachers for all WCCA Head Start & Early Head Start Classrooms.
- Classroom Substitutes fill in for or assist teachers in the classroom.
- Classroom Substitutes must have the ability to work with children and families from various cultural, economic & social backgrounds.
- High School/GED, a current valid driver's license, dependable transportation and current and valid auto liability insurance are required, degree in AA/AS in Early Childhood is preferred.
- For location travel, we do have agency vehicles available.
- Candidates with prior experience working with pre-school children are preferred, but any previous child care experience or infant and toddler teaching experience would be welcomed.
