About the Role

Join DEE'S LITTLE ANGELS CCC as a Toddler Lead Teacher and make a difference in the lives of young children! We are seeking a passionate educator who will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our toddlers in Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddlers' developmental needs. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities. Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive curriculum and teaching approach. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's growth and milestones. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

Cda or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in an educational setting. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for early childhood development. Ability to create a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere. Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and child development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. State licensing requirements for teaching in a childcare setting.
