The Substitute Medical Assistant Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through clinical assignments and theory that are aligned with the Certified Clinical Medical Assisting curriculum.
This role is on-site at Orleans Technical College in Northeast Philadelphia and is part time.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Medical Assisting classes using established accredited curricula
- Provide hands-on Medical Assisting skills training
- Prepare students to take the National Healthcare Association (NHA) exam
- Encourage student growth, professionalism, and accountability
- Utilize varying delivery methods and media to keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day
- Maintain student attendance and grade rosters
- Place orders for supplies and materials according to school policy in a timely manner to ensure the smooth progression of instruction
