  • Opportunity for supervision and training of master's level interns Continued training in evidence based practices such as DBT, TF-CBT, PCIT Hours more along the lines of 10a-6p or 11a-7p Rate: $53,702 - $61,220 annually As an Outpatient Clinician at Devereux Community Services you will be involved in conducting individual and family therapy in an office location.
  • This position allows clinicians the opportunity to work with individuals ranging in age from 2 to 21 years old, depending on enrollment through a school district, with a wide range of clinical diagnoses.
  • Specific responsibilities of an Outpatient Therapist include: Provides individual, family and collateral therapy for assigned individuals, including intakes as needed.
  • Will participate in the implementation of at least one specialized evidenced based practice (DBT, TF-CBT, and/or PCIT).
  • Creates initial resiliency plan within 3 sessions and ensures proper documentation is complete.
  • Reviews all Psychiatric evaluations and recommendations are being followed.
  • Assists in hospitalization if required.
  • Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders,intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders.
  • Located in West Chester and Malvern, Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services,community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. #sponsored

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work EXPERIENCE: Previous experience conducting individual and/or family therapy, preferably with children and adolescents, required. Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills. Must be adaptable to changing workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule. Must have the ability to travel to and from work site, and be at least 21 years of age. Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
