Job Summary
- We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Assistant Montessori Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team.
- In this role, you will assist the lead teacher in implementing Montessori-based activities and lesson plans that foster a love of learning in young children.
- You will support the classroom environment, encourage independence, and work closely with students to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a positive attitude, and a commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom.
- You are passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential.
- With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.
- Montessori experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Help teach beginning reading and math skills
- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 Early Childhood Education Units (ECE) and must be willing to complete 12 units
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
