Job summary

The College of Human Development, Culture, and Media seeks Federally Funded Work-Study students to provide clerical, administrative, and general office support in various areas throughout the College during the 2026–2027 academic year.

Duties & Responsibilities

This individual will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily office operations. Responsibilities include sorting and distributing mail, greeting office visitors, assisting with restocking office supplies, organizing and maintaining files, updating Excel spreadsheets, assisting with campus event preparation, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Work-study staffing is needed between the hours of 8

45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Required qualifications: **federal work study (Fws) eligibility is required**

*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

*Cordial and respectful demeanor, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the University community.

*Detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual.

*Ability to work independently and manage project-based assignments.

*Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Desired qualifications

Familiarity with business office procedures and the ability to work effectively in a professional office atmosphere.

Special instructions

This position is conditional on receiving Federal Study Award for 2026-27. Position is from September 2026 to May 2027.
