Title: Home Visitor (HV)

Amplified Therapy Inc. is a family-owned pediatric healthcare provider specializing in early intervention and school-based therapy services across New Mexico. As a certified NM Family Infant Toddler (FIT) provider, ATI delivers high-quality, no-cost services to families with children from birth to age three who are at risk of developmental delays or disabilities.

Position Summary

The Home Visitor (HV) delivers a supportive, relationship-based program focused on parenting skills, child development, and family well-being. Using ATI’s defined curriculum and the standards of the New Mexico Home Visiting Program, the HV provides education, resources, and advocacy tailored to each family’s needs. This role includes conducting assessments, facilitating referrals, and maintaining accurate documentation under the supervision of the HVPD.

Home Visitor (HV) Qualifications

  • Must meet one of the following:
  • Option 1: High school diploma or GED + 2 years of experience with infants/toddlers/families, with commitment to earn Infant Family Services or Community Health Worker Certificate within 3 years.
  • Option 2: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with certificate commitment within 2 years.
  • Option 3: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Must pass background check through NM Early Childhood Education & Care Department (ECECD).
  • Reliable transportation for bi-monthly home visits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits with pregnant women and families with children ages 0–5.
  • Build trusting relationships and provide education on parenting, child development, health, nutrition, and household management.
  • Assess developmental milestones and tailor support to individual family needs.
  • Assist families in accessing community resources and implementing strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and act as a family advocate.
  • Participate in staff development, supervision, and community outreach.
  • Represent ATI in community events, trainings, and meetings.
  • Adapt to various service delivery settings including homes, clinics, and community environments.
  • Travel within the assigned county of service to complete family visits.
