Brook lane clinical therapist – laurel hall school (Frederick, md)

*Shift

  • Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly,
  • Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

*Please note, compensation offers will be based on experience and level of licensure and differ from the current range posted.

About the Role

Brook Lane is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to provide therapeutic services to students at Laurel Hall School in Frederick, MD. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a school‑based environment and is committed to supporting the emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of children and adolescents.

You’ll collaborate closely with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and personally.

  • Education & licensure requirements
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active LCSW‑C or LCPC licensure
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification
  • Current First Aid training
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per Brook Lane/Meritus policy
  • Experience & skills
  • Training and/or experience working with school‑aged children and adolescents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure requirements and completing assigned trainings
  • Ability to coordinate services and support students with diverse needs

As a School‑Based Clinical Therapist, you will

  • Provide therapeutic services to Laurel Hall students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver individual and group interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
