The instructor will deliver a comprehensive EKG Technician course, covering cardiovascular anatomy, EKG equipment usage, and rhythm interpretation. Responsibilities include preparing students for professional practice and ensuring adherence to the weekly class schedule.
ProTrain is currently recruiting for an experienced in-classroom instructor with experience teaching an EKG Technician course.
Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 3 years as an EKG Technician.
This is a part time; contracted teaching position to begin immediately. Future classes will be available to the right candidate.

Accurately calculate heart rate and identify the differences between types of rhythm regularity.

Describe the relationship between EKG and Myocardial Infraction.
Perform the proper procedures for applying a Holter monitor.
Recognize commonly used cardiac medications in relation to their effects on heart rate and their correlation to arrhythmias.
