Life Skills Instructor Pay Scale
- $18.28 - $19.78

- PRIMARY
- FUNCTION: Support individuals with developmental disabilities in building functional and vocational skills that promote independence at home and in the community. Provide guidance based on each person's needs, goals, and personal choices.
- WORK
- SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday during standard program hours, with flexibility to work variable hours as needed. This may include attending all mandatory staff meetings, or other responsibilities that fall outside regular hours.
- EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required.
- EXPERIENCE: At least six months of successful work or volunteer experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Illinois Driver's License. Proof of automobile insurance must meet state minimum requirements. Defensive driving certification. First Aid and CPR certification required within 90 days of employment, with updates to licensing standards.
