  • Description: Foster Care Program is located at main campus in McKeesport with work throughout Allegheny and neighboring counties where foster homes are located and young people served are from. The program recruits, certifies, and maintains a secure and safe environment for young people, referred by a county protective agency, who cannot live with their legal guardian at that time. The program works to assist the young person in finding permanency either through reunification with that original caregiver or within an alternate family setting. This program includes traditional and therapeutic level of services as well as services through the Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN). Choose an item.

Engage with children to help them prepare for permanency. 3. Create scrapbooks for the children to process trauma and honor the past. 4. Provide extensive history and information to potential adoptive families. 5. Educate families on ways to engage with their children and process the grief and loss as they get older.

  • Requirements: This position is primarily located in Great Pittsburgh area. All positions are also expected to come to training, meetings, and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport, as scheduled. The travel required for this position is frequent.

  • Requirements: Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances Bachelors preferred, related experience & “lived experience” may be accepted Requires frequent travel throughout greater Pittsburgh Area, including transportation of young people, with use of all types of car seats. Valid PA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, valid car insurance & registration. 21 years of age or older
