PE Teacher

• Description PE Teacher remainder 25/26 School Year Description SANY’s Citizenship and Science Academy of Syracuse (Grades K-5) is excited to announce the opening of a Physical Education (PE) Teacher role for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year.
• As a result, we are looking for dynamic and creative PE Teachers.
• We have a great environment for new teachers and encourage experienced teachers to apply!
• New York State Certification Required.
• We need Teachers who will: Provide engaging lesson plans the conform to the charter's curriculum Collaborate with staff to determine charter requirement for the instructional goals, objectives and methods Have excellent content knowledge and pedagogy Appreciate regular feedback, accountability and the rewards that come with doing a great job serving our students & communities Have great classroom management What we can provide Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, employee assistance program and more!

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree preferred Certification Required Experience with diverse population of students or in an urban setting a plus Prior teaching experience preferred and novice teachers encouraged to apply!
