Overview: EKT is a two-week summer program at SUN schools that offers children and families a jump-start into a successful kindergarten year. The program focuses on academics, play, arts and music, exploration and developing friendships in an inclusive and joyful classroom.
The program has two components: a two week program for incoming kindergarten students, and provides family education sessions that are required. EKT partners with SUN and Multnomah County to offer the program. Curriculum will be provided.
