Kids Zone Associate / Babysitting Associate

The Mystic Valley YMCA is currently seeking creative, energetic, and compassionate individuals who are passionate about working with children. In this role, staff will be responsible for engaging youth in safe, fun, and enriching activities while their caregivers utilize YMCA facilities. Candidates should be able to create a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages positive interaction, play, and age-appropriate learning experiences.

Applicants must have at least two years of experience in babysitting, childcare, teaching, or a related field, with demonstrated ability to care for children ranging in age from 3 months to 9 years old. Strong communication skills, patience, and attentiveness are essential. Candidates who are bilingual are strongly encouraged to apply, as this helps us better serve our diverse community.

The Kids Zone is currently open Monday through Friday from 4

• 00
• PM to 8:00
• PM, and
• Saturdays from 9:00
• AM to 12:30 PM. We are looking to expand coverage for our Saturday hours and are seeking individuals who are available and interested in working during this time.

In addition, the Mystic Valley YMCA plans to expand Kids Zone hours beginning in June to include Monday through Wednesday mornings from 8:45 AM to 11:45 AM. We are actively seeking candidates who are interested in these new weekday morning shifts. Additional availability beyond these hours is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
