The instructor will prepare and deliver lectures on EKG content and lead hands-on skills labs. They are also responsible for administering assessments and maintaining accurate student records and grades.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant field experience as an EKG Technician or in a similar advanced practice. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and authorization to work in the US is mandatory.

What you will do as an EKG Technician Instructor on our Faculty Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook. Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus. Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback. Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades. Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation. Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located with regard to policy. Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.
