Overview Case Manager II - Educational Advisor Pay
- $50,000/year The Educational Advisor counsels individuals and provides group educational and vocational guidance services. The Educational Advisor will implement educational programs and activities at their designated sites. This is a federally grant-funded position under the GEAR UP initiative.

Responsibilities
Collect, organize and analyze information about individuals through records, tests, interviews, and professional sources. Assess client interests, aptitudes, abilities, and personality characteristics, for vocational and educational planning. Collaborate with schools, government agencies and CBO in assisting student with accessing higher education. Compile and study occupational, educational, and economic information to aid clients in making and carrying out vocational and educational objectives. Refer students to placement service. Engage in research and follow-up activities to evaluate counseling techniques. Assist clients in researching all educational funding options. Assist clients in loan default. Assist clients in determining their vocational and educational interests. Conduct training sessions. Assist clients in obtaining educational funding.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Valid Driver’s license, ability to drive and means of transportation Travel to other cities and towns may be required
