Job description
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Jefferson Middle School for SY27.
Responsibilities
- Flexible, dependable, and organized.
- Must be team oriented and able to work cohesively with others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Must be knowledgeable of the academic, social, and emotional developmental needs of young adolescents.
Experience
- Experience teaching mathematics on the middle school level.
- Understanding of the middle school child.
Qualifications
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Mathematics endorsement.
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
Salary
• Salary based on the 2026-27 T-Scale salary schedule.
