  • Essential functions: 1.Provide focused
  • Occupational
  • Therapy interventions to students in 1:1 settings and/or small groups. 2.Consult with teachers on OT needs of students with sensory needs and on ways of leading groups. 3.Consult with parents directly and through clinical staff on OT difficulties of individual students. 4.Provide in-service education to teachers, clinicians and milieu counselors on occupational therapy difficulties, diagnostics, and remediation. 5.Conduct annual pre-testing and post-testing in OT development for students who have OT services on their IEP. 8.Screen intake/admission materials to determine OT and sensory needs of incoming students. 9.Provide formal and informal Occupational Therapy diagnostic assessment as requested and approved by LEAs and parent(s). 10.Document client performance; write timely progress notes for Quarterly Progress reports. 11.Organize, monitor and maintain occupational therapy materials and testing supplies. 12.Write full assessment reports/sensory profile based on diagnostic results. 13.Attend TEAM meetings, IEP meetings, and Clinical Conferences as needed. 14.Supervise Occupational Therapy assistants/interns as directed by the Principal; support assistant/intern in determining schedule, preparing materials/activities/lessons, monitoring progress of students). 15.Provide additional coverage to the school program as needed. 16.Participate fully in in-service training programs and staff meetings. 17.All other duties, as assigned QualificationsWalker is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based upon an individual’s race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, genetic information, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, national guard or reserve unit obligations, participation in discrimination complaint-related activities, or membership in any category protected by federal or state law. *Full-Time opportunity may be available, split between two different programs.
