$15-16/hour Key Responsibilities: Support lead and assistant teachers across multiple classrooms as needed Step into classrooms to maintain ratios and continuity of care Assist with implementing age-appropriate activities and routines Provide a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment for all children Help manage transitions, including arrivals, departures, meals, and nap times Foster positive interactions and model appropriate behavior and communication Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of classroom spaces Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety procedures Observe children and report any concerns to lead teachers or administration Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Adapt quickly to different age groups, schedules, and classroom needs Assist with classroom coverage during staff breaks, planning time, or absences What’s it like to be a teacher at our School? Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred, High School Diploma 1-2 years of experience preferred Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training[LJ1] Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles Skilled at developing relationships and communicating effectively with children, parents, and faculty members Is dependable, adaptable and enjoys working in teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
